Seafood Festival at Silverlakes

For the past two years I have been commuting to Orange County for work. When I mention to people I live near Norco they assume it’s a little horse town; but oh boy are they wrong! – Having lived in the area I have seen the expansion and growth, one major staple of the region’s developmental growth has been Silverlakes. In September 2015, this Equestrian and Sports Complex opened for business and began to quickly draw in people from all over. Sitting on 130 acres of land and big dreams they continued to expand to what it is now. The property now holds outdoor cafe, concert facility, restaurant and private banquet terrace along with the sports fields.

This past weekend the Silverlakes staff was nothing but amazing and generous in allowing the team and I to be a part of the Seafood Festival in partnership with Event Werkz. Our BIG KAHUNA ticket was beyond incredible, with a lobster tail dinner and all you can eat shrimp cocktail bar provided by Newport Beach’s Hook & Anchor Restaurant. Ticket also included unlimited craft brew and wine tasting. We also got to enjoy live music by the Spazmatics,Yachty by Nature, Bota Bag and DJ Peter G. After some dancing and walking around we head over to the food trucks for amazing lobster nachos and delicious pineapple water.

We definitely were amazed by the venue and look forward to their next event! – If you are in the area you need to check out next month’s Oktoberfest on Saturday October 13th. Plan a trip to Silverlakes and create great memories with live music, good food, beer and interactive fun and games
