Day-Tripping: SAN DIEGO

Kelvin has always worked on the weekends making it so difficult for us to plan weekend adventures. This past December the perfect new job was offered to him which included weekends off (yay!). Between holidays, birthdays, and real-life shenanigans we had not been able to take a day-trip and finally got around to it!

EAST VILLAGE ON J STREET

105 miles later we arrived at the East Village Block Party. We were super excited to stop by the Southwest Airlines booth. Even more excited to win some awesome prizes and 10,000 points towards flights ! woohoo !

WEREWOLF SD

Brunch is always a must! – after doing some research on YELP we walked up a few blocks and enjoyed the great food and amazing atmosphere at Werewolf. Blood orange Mimosas and egg-less chilaquiles were totally worth the 15 minute walk.

FLOWER FIELDS

A little north of San Diego in Carlsbad there’s the cutest fields of ranunculus (one of my favorite flowers). The bright endless fields of color are legitimately breathtaking! For a small entrance fee you too can venture off into the wonderland.

Join us to see where we stop by next ! – xoxo Michelle
